Squier Classic Vibe 70’s Precision Bass

This bass was purchased as a back up for my original 70’s Precision. Other than being set up and played at home a couple of times it’s not been used in anger.

When I got it I was astonished by the quality of the construction and finish. The neck is slightly slimmer than my original and obviously the block markers are different however they look great.
It is relatively light weight at 4.1kgs.

This is a fantastic instrument for the money. It’s been professionally set up with Ernie Balls. No bag or case but has it’s original manual and Allen keys.

I don’t want trades sorry. I also don’t post overseas these days. Pickup preferred but I can post in the UK at buyer’s cost. Please note days I can post are limited because of work.
Last picture is with my old faithful ‘79 Precision.

I had a rig like that with two Foundation cabs, used many times in the original Cavern and gigs all over Liverpool in the mid ‘60’s. Finished my playing career with a Vox T60 and the matching 12”+15” cab.

My first gigging amp was a T60 and a purple painted Foundation cab. My Dad bought me the T60 rig for £30 as I was at school aged 14 - this was in the early 80s and nobody wanted these amps now they fetch very high prices! It was ok through the big cabs and I used a Fender Musicmaster. I played a few gigs then sold it for £35 and bought a Carlsbro Cobra.

Our van got nicked (Paul and Ritchie and the Crying Shames) all our ‘sponsored’ Vox equipment went. I bought the T60 from Greg out of the Escorts, sold it on when I got married and packed in playing for good in ‘68..... we know how that went😎

Getting this thread back on topic I’m reducing the asking price by £20 on account of finding damage to the lacquer where the cover screw has over zealously been attached.  See pic. It’s not visible at all with the cover on but obviously some people won’t like the covers. Now £270.
