£1100
Southend

SOLD

Up for sale this beautiful early ACG. Please ask any questions, socially distanced pick up or happy to meet/drive to drop off.

Pictures, comments and some history here ...

...It has just had (early March 2020) a full set up, some neck and fingerboard work, a restring and fret dressing by the best set up chap in the country (all details available) and is now in good as new condition. I can’t find a mark on it. Recently restrung with Newtone strings. The bass has Schaller strap pins and I will include a set Schaller S-Locks with the trade/sale.

No trades thanks.

Sweet lord this is stunning! I've always wanted a quality singlecut 4 string and this is perfect. Sadly I've committed to buying a Warwick in the next few weeks, however I will keep an eye on this incase it hangs around long enough!

Nope, this is not the only ACG Harlot Single Cut, here is the Harlot R one that I used to own, not the same single cut, but a single cut... ;)

Aha, I wondered if it wasn’t the only one, thanks for this, I will amend the ad. 👍

Sorry to see this incredible instrument possibly moving on again!
I can appreciate the joys of a shorter scale though.

Hopefully whoever gets their hands on this will keep it forever, if it was shorter, I would certainly be tempted, it's absolutely stunning!

IIRC it is the only 4 string SC Harlot Alan made.

This has been owned by a number of BCers - I think we're all agreed it's a great bass

I've seen this bass come up for sale more times than I remember and can't understand why! It is probably one of the finest 4 string basses that you could ever hope to buy with any amount of money...

I have 3 of Alan's creations and they will never be sold simply because they are better than everything else I've owned/played over the years, and I have owned/played A LOT!

Who ever buys this will need to really 'learn' the pre-amp, but once you've got the hang of it, it really is unbelievably versatile and will do pretty much anything you want better than anything else!

This has to be one of the best value for money buys I’ve seen on a bass all day - and I’ve seen a lot of basses today!

Good luck with the sale @Frank Blank 👍

I’ve done nothing but play it and appreciate it since I read this comment, oh dear.

I think this is the nicest single cut design I've seen, I wonder why this model wasn't more popular?
