FarFromTheTrees Posted May 23, 2020 Share Posted May 23, 2020 So I recently bought a 2019 sterling ray 5 with the roasted maple neck. I happen to have a tone capsule sitting doing nothing which was bought for a project build that had to be abandoned. I was going to sell the DGTC but now i'm wondering if I should have it installed in the ray 5. I already have a B7K Ultra on my pedalboard, so of course i'm thinking the two would work well together. I play in a post-hardcore band so that DG tone works well there. Being honest, I don't know a whole lot about onboard preamps and what have you. Would it be a worthy upgrade?
