Excuse my Ignorance but what are the 'Watts' on your profile for?

Remember...

Basschat Watts only appeared with the last regeneration of the forum a couple of years ago.  Some members have been here over a decade and all of their posts are counted.  A relative newcomer such as myself can appear to be more popular than is actually the case because of it.

I think that if your Watts vs post rating is low, you probably have written considerate, well-reasoned, wise posts. If it's high, you've posted one or two Bad Jokes in appropriate threads. 😁

That makes me all warm and fuzzy inside, cheers chap!

My understanding is that posts in OT don't add to our post count, but reactions received by any of our posts add up on our profile no matter where the post being reacted to is.

I'm not sure what this Rank you guys are talking about is. Mine seems to be called Member Title. Or am I looking in the wrong place?

I don't seem to have that option:

@Richard R, how are you doing?
Answer this, and you're only 73 or 573 posts away! 😁

PS
Answer it here in General Discussion. Do not ( I repeat: DO NOT ) use the Off Topic forum.

I guess I now have to post like mad so we can find out. My watts/post ratio will drop like a stone.

(5)74 to go 😉

It's like getting a star for a 5 metre swim, so that five metre is not quite a 5 metre as you need to push yourself off then float before you stop. So you only actually swim 2 metres the most.

Go ahead , plenty of emojis please to boost my watts. Thank you
