I'm sure I'd seen something interesting, found the advert on YouTube and I'm certain one of the bassists is playing a blue Dingwall D Roc. The balance is excellent. I’ve only tried on a D-Bird, but it had one strap button on the heel, and another on the back a few inches in from where it would normally be on the end of the body, so not only is balance very good but it sits further to the right than you’d imagine, making the reading to the 1st fret comfy. Both strap button sockets are recessed into the back of the body,it came with dunlop strap locks too. The balance is perfect,absolutely no neck dive & it is a very light bass too. It plays so easily that it convinced me to sell my vintage style basses (Rick 4003SW & P bass) & get the combustion to go with it.
