Just 1 question; if there isn't an ugly routed channel in the body between the pup routs and the control cavity, why have a pickguuard covering so much of the wood? Slappindabass Posted June 4, 2020 Author Share Posted June 4, 2020 It is all together and playing rather nicely. Really pleased as this is the first neck I have done to completion. Tuning with the spalted beech neck seems stable, maybe the 2 6mm graphite rods are helping. I have resisted tearing the film off the pick guard and puting the screws in in case I need to tweak it at all.
