For info, Merlos guitars started in 1978 - their bases are made by Jose Merlos in Alicante, Spain with own preamps and electronics. Note the Active / Passive switch maintains the volume! Specs: Ash Body with Ebony top Maple neck with carbon fiber reinforcement and ebony board Merlos 3 way preamp (passive tone) and pickups 34", 19mm spacing Switches for active/passive, humbucker/single and mid freqs cut.
