It’s the American Original ‘50s Precision in Aztec Gold 🙂

@bnt if it was vintera I would’ve bought one. It’s American Vintage, meaning about £1500-1700 and not “cheap”.

Ooh - well, the Vintera in Vintage Blonde is what caught my eye:

Is that the new Vintera 50's Precision? I'm strongly considering one of these for flatwounds and a plectrum. However, I also think I would like a two-pickup configuration, and right now the Sandberg-inspired (heh) Harley Benton Enhanced looks very good to me in the Natural finish:

That is very tempting. I couldn't find anything that was trying to do the 'sandberg VM' thing so bought the real deal about two days ago instead. I'd be interested to see how one of those Harley Bentons plays as it may prove a useful backup. Any chance you fancy being Patient Zero for me and picking one up?

Hi, no the one I saw , and pictured, is the Aztec gold American original 50's precision. The Vintera isn't as sparkly as this I think, though there are some great colour schemes on the Vinteras too.

Oh go on then...

Same bass just a change of pick up. Shuker body with a PB70’s neck

Lull TBird pick up (top pic) and a David Allen 1088p Reverse P in the bottom. The neck feels great and with flats feels amazingly smooth. I’ve never rubbed my hands in butter but I’ve heard it said...
