So ..... what’s everyone doing

Recommended Posts

Well...I’m the spirit of sadomasochist behaviour...the garden continues in earnest...

So - from an earlier post.

the trees bugged the hell out of me. So I dug them up...3 of the buggers. Bagged them up at the root - father in law collected...

revealed a dirty and broken fence.

I have spare slats in the garage.

And from another earlier post...7F811431-29A7-43F5-85CD-E1BA321D74FB.jpeg.f1ddd40c045a7927fea05d2da2b43e2d.jpegEC13F58A-BE58-4AF0-977C-5094E19B6B37.thumb.jpeg.e79361ebce2e60631598931638a88fa9.jpeg

I did nothing with it yesterday...so tomorrow the sand and cement may be arriving...I say may, because I’m in a pessimistic mood...

I washed the cars today. Just finished the wheels on the 2nd one and thought i would give the mats a quick brush down on the first one and lw and behold a bird decided to leave a bomb on the door. That was the main reason for washing them both.

Water and sponge back out and cleaned the bird message off again.

I hate country living at this time of year ...........nah i love it really.

Also building some wee airfix models i had stored in the cupboard for rainy days. That's fun.

Getting a bit worried about my 'new' Citroen C5. It's been nearly a week but because I'm hardly using it it's still spotless.

I'm gradually pumping the diesel out of the Jag (worth half the value of the car), but once it's ready to get rid of I wonder if anyone knows a simple way of transferring the dirt across?

The wheels are but the car is a unique 1.6L (the only one ever made in Imperial red and one of only two Imperial red cars left of any type). Sadly I have yet to find a decent set of steel wheels to go on it. I would like to get it back to original if I can. Hoping to have it on the road this summer after 4 years of hard graft over the last six years ( a year off to build an extension and another year of getting a 205CJ road worthy).

Cool. I had a '79 2.0GL in Cosmos Blue back in the day - still miss it! That door reminds me of my Limelight Jazz😎

My first car was 2.0GL in Tibetan gold (metallic brown). Sadly it was written off but I loved that car.

Was awoken by furniture delivery for garden at 8am.

replacement for faulty stuff I had put together last week and had to take apart last night.

”are you collecting this return mate?”

’nope...’

”oh ok...”

He sets off...

8.04am - same guy...knocks back on

‘Here for a collection mate’

like the previous exchange had never happened.

Anyhow, sat having a brew in the sun.

Recording a few new bass line ideas for sending on to my musical collaborator, really helps if you tune up before recording doesn't it?

Sitting in conservatory with a coffee watching the farmer getting closer and closer with that bloody manure spreader. Just starting to get faint whiffs of it now.

Hope he doesn't get too Close to the Edge. :laugh1:

If you write a post later saying you are cleaning the conservatory then we know that he may well have got too close! 😂
