More work in the garden. I finally got around to shifting the renovation rubble pile I've been building up for the past 12 years.

Amazing what you can do with a couple of strategically placed doors on the sides of a mini skip.

Yeah. Thankfully not by hand. I had a digger and tipper in to do the hard work. 😉

So you supervised someone else doing the work. That's my fav job. I can do supervising.:laugh1:

That looks like a fair sized house too. Nice one sir.

I spent an hour cleaning out the cat loos in their pen. One soil corner and one covered sand pit. Topped up both soil levels and refilled the sand pit with fresh sand. Not the most exciting way to spend your day.

Is that the "more life-like" version rather than animation.

Spent 6 hours tidying my workshop, and it's not that big. Then, covered the floor with wood chips from the lathe so it needs doing again.  Tomorrow,  the studio. Not looking forward to that. Can't move in there.

I'm dedicating an hour a day to chucking out old paperwork -

not exciting but I've got a ten year backlog to clear,

I'm hoping to land up with a couple of years stuff

(I know HMRC wants business to hold on to every bit of paper

since Noah painted the ark, but fcuk 'em, it's my storeage/home)

😎

Worst thing I ever did was get a contract to build a mobile exhibition unit. Involved much sawing and routing of 5/8" ply. Filled my workshop with brown swarf - took years to get rid of it.

That's what supervising is all about. You are now classed as qualified. :laugh1:

Don't you watch the weather forecast. First bank holiday in years with no rain, isn't that what people were clapping for?🤔

I am finding it hard. I have a stepson and his girlfriend who just won't go outside at all. Not even to walk our dog. Its getting me down as I am getting serious cabin fever. I need them to at least do something around the house or I am gonna lose it!

Will we have to go out and do stuff when this is all over? I'm enjoying not having to go anywhere! Get up, play bass, have lunch, play more bass, have a drink, diner, bed. Works for me!

Moved a lot of stuff to store in the new workshop, just a few bits and pieces to go now, furniture and instruments will be last to be moved. The stuff for recycling could become an issue in another couple of weeks. Got a serious amount of shredding to do over the next few days. Haven't been able to get near an instrument🙁

I feel pretty much the same way.

Social isolation isn't much of a problem when I've been practicing anti-social isolation for the past 5 years. 😂

It's a scary thing watching the world fall apart through my phone screen. But actually, if I turn it off, it's pretty much life as usual on a daily basis.

Not finding it hard at all. I miss my weekly Costa coffee trip and rehearsals and occasional gigs but i'm still practising the set list at home.

We're not really great socialisers so tend to keep ourselves to ourselves most of the time. Most i see people is the band once a fortnight rehearsals or gigs.

Wife isn't one of those women that has to go shopping every week except for food shopping of course but we've cut that down to once a fortnight with visits in between for bread and milk when required.

All in all no major changes in our life.

20 years I’ve worked from home ... it’s nothing new is it... the worst bit is getting used to their people being home all bloody day. 😂
