A new purchase means that something has to go, plus I temporarily have a carton suitable for posting a bass. 9_9

This bass is a truly lovely piece of work; it's very distinctive to look at and it sounds outstanding courtesy of the Mike Lull custom-wound Thunderbird pickups. If you haven't heard a bass equipped with the Lull pickups then you really should.

Sad to relate, I now play almost exclusively 5-string basses (including two Mike Lulls) and I'm finding it harder and harder to justify keeping 4-string basses on the wall.

This bass is in flawless, all-original, as-new condition and it comes with the original Mike Lull hard case & case candy.

I really hate trusting high-end basses to a courier, but I will if I have to. The price for that will be determined by the courier, not me.

But I MUCH prefer to meet other Basschatters face to face, make sure that both parties like what they are getting by way of a deal before any money changes hands. The bass is in Harrow (NW London) and I have no problem with driving a sensible distance to deliver in person or at least to meet halfway.

Or you could sell me your other 4 string Lull (cough, surf, green, cough) and hide from @Silvia Bluejayfor a few days 🤠

Over my dead body, Clarky! 😉  (And the Dynamites would be a bit disappointed to see that bass disappear - it's the one Jack plays with the band at every gig when he's not on DB.) :) 😎

Can you confirm the scale, spec shows 34" but review states 35"

GLWTS, it looks very nice

All 5-string Lulls are 35" scale (one of the things I like so much about them) but all 4-string Lulls are 34".

Thing of beauty that PT4 one of my favourite sounding basses was my old PT5 only thing I couldn't get on with was the neck 35" is not for me.

In the process of getting a 5string bass refurbish into a similar style to PT5 but 34" otherwise I would have been tempted to pop up the M1.

Something has been thought of. Halfords - there's the answer. Socking great cartons that used to hold daft bicycles, you know, the ones made of very expensive materials and costing ridiculous amounts of money when you can achieve exactly the same thing by buying something far cheaper and ... oh hang on ... wait a minute ...

I've been asked for photos of the case etc. which is understandable ... Mike Lull cases are attractive examples of the breed.

There's very little by way of case candy for this bass, I'm afraid, not even the Certificate of Authenticity or the (completely useless) keys!

But isn't that a lovely shade of blue?
