I do agree that he is having a laugh re. value, especially as I can't ever recall the JV basses having the 61/62 stack-kn*b control plate, so that bit ain't original! The price is a bit on the steep side, even if it does come with a hard case. The JV's were the original Squier series and weren't reissues as such, even though they were pretty close. But I'm pretty certain they didn't ever come with stack pots. All JV Jazz basses would have had the v/v/t set up, there was no range of options/reissues. Hence the bass this guy is selling isn't all original and as such the price is steep... wtf am I talking about! The price is steep FULL STOP. <edit> Just had a look at his other pics. So the bass is actually a Fender Japan non-export model. So when is a Squier not a Squier... when it's a Fender.
