NJE 294 Posted January 18, 2020 Sire have released a few new basses on Facebook, but the short scale and passive jazz with roasted necks were of particular interest.....yes please!
danbowskill 215 Posted January 18, 2020 (edited) A roasted neck in a passive P style would peak my interest. Edited January 18, 2020 by danbowskill
Merton 1,459 Posted January 18, 2020 Another shorty PJ bass, I’ll be spoilt for choice soon should I choose to abandon the gear abstinence challenge!
uk_lefty 1,216 Posted January 19, 2020 If the V5 is same quality as the V7 I'll be interested. However if that short scale PJ was full scale I'd be buying, love a PJ on a j body.
bassix 25 Posted January 19, 2020 I can see a trip to Andertons happening when the v5 are released.
[email protected] 198 Posted January 19, 2020 I always like the sound of Sire in passive mode, so am interested to try a V5! The Instagram blurb twice mentions it being "light", so here's hoping the 5 comes in at a decent weight and has the rolled edges and other perks of the V7. Marvin 350 Posted January 21, 2020 (edited) I saw the new basses being promoted on Facebook a few days ago. This morning there's a Strat, Les Paul and a large body Gibson style guitar on their pages. Seems they're moving into being a 'player' inn the market (excuse the pun). Edited January 22, 2020 by Marvin
Tvrtastic 59 Posted January 21, 2020 Sire started off as Dame in Korea, until they hooked up with MM and started selling to US/EU market. http://www.dame.co.kr/m/electric.html Will be interesting to see how their guitars match up now they also have some endorsement and better distribution.
