If you're someone who makes any income from selling musical equipment you've made then you're considered to be a commercial builder. In the past on Bassworld, one particular member spammed the forum with almost every instrument they were making, so this is the fairest way we can think of to ensure there's some self-moderation. Any commerical builders who post their own build diaries will find their threads deleted. However, commercial builders who want to share construction tips and techniques are very welcome to put a post in the repairs forum. Commercial builders are also welcome to put a link to their own site in their signature. That way the more you post on the rest of the forum, the more exposure you get. Quid pro quo - innit?
