Yamaha BB 1200 * sold* £500 Hertfordshire

Up for sale is my old Yamaha BB 1200 in natural. I've had this bass for many years and have used it in the studio and live many times over the years... 

I believe this bass was made in 79/80  and has the battle scars to prove it!!  I had planned to refinish this bass in a translucent cherry red to match my 1200s but never got around to it.. On one of the tuners you will see that there is a piece missing.. in all the years over owned it I've not had a problem with it... I was going to replace the tuners with the schaller replacements ( I think it was schaller...might have been Gotoh) but again never got around to it as they never caused any problems...

At some point in its life someone has used a thumb rest  and there are screw holes to prove it... and on the lower horn someone has screwed in a strap locks.... maybe a lefty!!??

Yeah I've seen loads like this on the 1200....even my sunburst has some...never seen them on the 1200s though... weird.

Well my 3 certainly haven't...
