Sounds great at any volume, loud enough for any gig, keeps the character of any bass I put through it. Quite a small footprint too - 1u. I bought the 300 for home practice/small gigs but traded up to the 500 - my intention being to also use it as back up for my main gig amp, a Quilter BB800.
