jimbartlett Posted December 28, 2019 Share Posted December 28, 2019 I had a lovely sound about 10 years ago and like everyone, I’ve been chasing after the ultimate sound I’ve got in my head ever since. Always changing pedals, basses and amps to get to my utopia. Today I plugged a P Bass into my old Hartke VXL Bass Attack and guess what.....it is wonderful! What have I been doing the last 10 years?! Has anyone tried the new version of this pedal? I’m not changing again now but curious to see if it’s the same but a smaller footprint as this thing is a bit of a tank! Cuzzie Posted December 28, 2019 Share Posted December 28, 2019 New version is not a patch on the old version - May look a little more polished and smaller, but they have changed the EQ, points, electronics slightly or something - it’s not the same beast and not for the better.
