Selling this player's Yamaha TRB1005 made in Korea. It has a lot of dings and scratches from when I bought it summer last year. (I will update with more detailed photos as soon as I finished cleaning it).

It is fully functional, I have gigged it almost every week end since I got it. The dings and scratches are just cosmetic. It doesn't have any structural damages.

19mm string spacing at bridge

Fingerboard: Rosewood

Body: Quilted Maple top/Alder body

Neck: Maple/Mahogany

Bridge: Solid Brass

Pickups: Alnico-V Hum-Canceled

Preamp: 3 band

Only selling or trading it as I finally have my custom 5-string incoming.

As for trade options, I'm looking at a decent p-bass with with a maple board.

Collection or meet up only so you can inspect and try the bass out for yourself.

I happened to  be near Bass Direct on Wednesday and popped in to have a play on a couple of 5 string basses, just to see how I got on. One was a TRB1005. It just sounded great, definitely a player's bass.

I'm not in the market for anything, but if I was this would be high on the shorlist.

GLWTS 👍

Defo. Flat setting on the EQ and it sings. I can't praise it enough. Packs a punch higher than its price tag!

Agreed, I had one and found it a great instrument...I can't recall why I sold it. I think it was when I went back to 4 strings for a while

      Hi

Selling my Spector NS2000/4. I bought this bass in 1999 from A1 Music in Manchester and was my main bass until I bought my Wal in 2010.

It’s been heavily gigged but most of the damage (as seen in the pictures) came from one incident. The strap snapped and the bass plunged onto a concrete floor, resulting in the damage near the input jack and a crack in the lacquer around the control knobs. There is also some scrapes to the lower horn, all purely aesthetic.

In 2018, the jack input was changed out and replaced with the identical Switchcraft Stereo Jack Socket.

      - 3 piece Maple neck-thru
      - Active EMG HZ pickups
      - EMG BTS Circuit
      - Curved Maple Body
      - Width at nut 39mm

The bass is located in Copenhagen, Denmark and can be shipped to the UK with UPS for £50.

An absolutely stunning example of a candy apple red with matching headstock Maruszczyk Jake 5+ P/MM that is around 7lbs / 3.2Kg in weight,
Fitted with passive Delano MC5 HE/M2 and PC5 HE/M2 pickups.
      Hiscox hard case included.
I bought this as a backup for my Mauszczyk Jake PJ V but GAS has struck in the shape of a Rickenbacker 4003SW-5 - So no trades please
If you've ever wanted a lightweight 5 stringer that weighs so little that a 2 or 3 hour set leaves little to no impression on your ageing shoulders, then this is the bass to have

For sale or trade is my 1992 Musicman Stingray 5 fretless. I got this bass in a trade with Tony (Hellzero) a couple of years ago. Put it up for sale last year, but then ended up using it a bunch for sessions. It's a great bass, but not getting used enough so putting out there again!
This particular bass was built on 16th December 1992 and has an ash body finished in teal (or petrol blue), beautiful maple neck and unlined pau ferro fingerboard. I was informed by Tony that the previous (and original) owner hardly played the bass and there is very little wear on the fingerboard, especially considering it's nearly 28 years old. In perfect condition other than a chip in the finish on the lower horn - shown in photos, but I'm happy to send over more pics if necessary (chip is about 2mm square). Neck is in great condition and the setup is very comfortable indeed. Currently strung with DR Sunbeams 40-100.
All original hardware and electronics from early 90s (3 band EQ, 3 way selector switch and classic MM pickup). Only downside to this bass is that it's not one of the light MMs - weighs about 5.2kg. Standard Stingray specs other that than - 34" scale etc. and, of course, a superb low B.
I'm looking for £1250 for this. I will consider trades, but only partial ones really - I would like to free up some cash with this one and would prefer a sale.
Comes with original MM case. I'm based in Birmingham/Smethwick for collection and/or to check the bass out (welcome to come and try it out and have a cuppa). Happy to ship fully insured at the buyers expense. Thanks for looking.
