I have an amp which has 2 separate channels--each channel having their own controls. Question is: a) Is it a good idea to plug the 2 separate pickups into the 2 separate amp channels-- or b) Purchase a blender and plug the pickups into that? Would both a) & b) do the same job? BassBunny Posted November 16, 2019 Share Posted November 16, 2019 I would say they both do roughly the same job. Option "b" might be the better option depending on your amp. With the separate blender option adjusting the overall volume/sound is just 1 set of controls on the amp unless your amp has 2 channels and an overall Gain, in which case I would say both options are the same.
