MacDaddy Posted November 9, 2019 Share Posted November 9, 2019 So on this rainy afternoon, I've decided to give home recording a go, after having Studio One 3 on the laptop for the last 4 years. Well I've fallen at the first hurdle. I've downloaded a bunch of tuition videos, but the sound cuts off when I open the DAW. This happens both if the speakers are connected through the headphone out, or through the USB into my Line 6 GX. Any help appeciated. lowdown Posted November 11, 2019 Share Posted November 11, 2019 (edited) On the top drop down menus go to ...Studio One > Options. Or shortcut (Ctrl + ,) then tick 'Release Audio Device In Background'. (This is in ST1 Version 4.5 - I presume it's the same in Version 3).
