Tamed metal!

Hi all, i've recently joined a covers act as a bass player (I'm a guitarist mainly).

I'm used to playing heavy rock and metal however the covers we're doing are more pop and inde... so yeah it's a bit of a change.

Got myself a squier jaguar short scale which is pretty good for the money I spent. I'm using an ashdown mibass 550 through a custom 1x15 cabinet. I'm having difficulty getting decent clean volume out of it though it seems to fart quite a lot. I've got the output volume up full and the input volume just high enough to stop the signal distorting (I'm heavy handed and use a pick).

Anyone got experience with these amps and could give me some pointers?

Thanks

Hi SSUK :crigon_04:

I'm sure someone with knowledge of the Ashdown will be along shortly... :)
