In response to the other post, the one's you'll always love. As many as you like within reason and stick to radio friendly so we'll all know 'em.

Supertramp, Dreamer. A nugget of prog(ish) that made the charts.

Crowded House, Weather With You. Sublime.

Yes, Wondrous Stories.

Good choice. I'd be happy with them 3 as well

Mike Oldfield, Far Above The Clouds from TB III, hairs standing up, shivers down my spine, and tears of Joy......every.....single ....time.

When that 1st bell hits...its like a punch in the chest!

I must have heard this thousands of times since 1998, its even been the ring tone on my phone for the last 5 years.

I honestly believe this is the most entrancing, inspiring piece of musical art I have ever experienced.

These songs I’ve played hundreds of times, and yet when I hear the originals I never tire of them.

Dancing Queen - one of the best pop records ever made?

My Girl ( The Temptations ) - Motown perfection.

Sittin’ on the dock of the bay - Just wonderful.

Lets stay together - see above.

Honky Tonk Women - Fifty years old and probably my favourite hit single ever.       The minute the cowbell starts and the drums kick in, wow.

Born to run - Epic song that still sounds fresh.

I heard it through the grapevine - again, still sounding timeless.

So many to choose from, but here's a small eclectic list of what I consider to be wonderful, moving, powerful and generally awesome tunes:

"The Great Escape" and "Go" - Marillion

"Ice"  and all of "The Snow Goose" album- Camel

"Mojave Plan" and "White Eagle"- Tangerine Dream

"Never Say Die" and "Hard Road" - Black Sabbath

All of "Hergest Ridge" and "Ommadawn Part 2" - Mike Oldfield

"Drive" - Cars

All of "Parallelograms" album- Linda Perhacs

Anything from "Black Cherry" or "7th Tree" albums - Goldfrapp
