I am looking to buy a new amp and have been looking at the DG Microtubes 900v2. This amp can kick out 900w @4 ohm load, but will it blow my speakers if i run it at 900w? The amp will only produce it's full power into 4ohms so using one speaker on it's own for smaller gigs will be fine too. It was doubtless measured in a lab, run into a stable, non-reactive load and over a limited range of frequencies. In the real world, forget it.
