Xotic XP4, as new! - Covid-19 price drop - now £1450
£2000
Streatham Hill, South London

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

This is the best guitar I've ever owned (and played). I was never much of a P-bass person, but this is just so nice in every way. Incredibly well balanced and the tone is just beautiful, both passive and active. It's one of these things you can just plug in and not worry about anything. I am very sad to get rid of it, but a recent reality check means I'm selling it (and most of my other stuff).

I bought this brand new from bassdirect.co.uk for an "offer" price of £2,200 (this is the actual listing: http://w.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Xotic_XP4_Sherwood_Green.html). Since then, it has never left the house (apart from when I moved house) and been looked after extremely well. You're basically getting a new instrument if you buy this - even the plastic film is still on the scratch plate.

I think the colour is awesome on this bass, but I guess that's a matter of taste.

It comes with the original case, which is fantastic.

I'm not interested in any trades, sorry. I need to get rid of stuff, not just replace one thing with another.

Local pickup preferred but I'm sure we can agree something if you need it delivered.

Happy to answer any questions.

For virus-related reasons, I need to shift this quickly now. Price dropped to £1450.

Thanks

(Ps. I'm also selling a Sadowsky Metro 5, Sire Marcus Miller V7 - look out for that posting as well, if you're interested.)

1997 Ibanez TR200 Bass with 2 band active EQ (serial no: 6011374). I bought this from Japan, I've tried to find more details on these instruments, but this particular iteration of the TR200 only appears in a 1997 Japanese Ibanez catalogue, check the link for more details:
      http://brochures.yokochou.com/guitar-and-amp/ibanez/1997/en_22.html
Excellent mid-level instrument, rare and very hard to find for sale used at a good price. No trade offers please as I need to raise some cash.
Includes the following high quality upgrades: Kluson High Mass Bridge, DiMarzio Model P and J pickups, Jim Dunlop Straploks, and Gotoh GB528 Resolite lightweight tuners. Includes original Ibanez gig bag.
The bass plays and sounds great, truss rod works fine and the neck is straight and plays great. Condition for this bass is very good for its age; just a small unnoticeable scuff to the finish on the edge of both the top and bottom sides of the body, and a slight bit of finish loss by the bridge pickup when it was upgraded. All unnoticeable unless you look very closely and carefully.

Collection from the Preston Park area of Brighton is strongly preferred as the thin Ibanez gig bag for this bass offers very little protection and I'm not keen on sending basses that don't have a hard case. Plus you can try the bass out. A meet-up within a reasonable distance from Brighton is also a possibility.
      Here's my feedback:

Any questions, let me know. Cheers!

2020 Squier Classic Vibe 50s Precision in brand new condition, still has clear plastic film on the pickguard. Threaded saddles. Lovely amber tinted neck. Pickup is punchy and beefy. Fender strings.
Got the bass as a backup to my Fender Sting P bass, however with the covid-19 situation it doesn’t look like I’m likely to be using it anytime soon, which is the only reason I’m selling this beauty, plus I've been told I can’t have both my Sting bass and this. Sadly, one has to go (the Mrs has spoken).
      Sale only, no trades, thanks.

£275 posted to UK mainland only.

I’m moving on my MIM Fender Precision Bass. It’s a 2005/6 model according to the serial number and is totally stock. It’s in excellent condition. Never gigged, only ever used at home. It’s in my way as I’m not playing much these days.
Nice satin neck, nut width is approximately 42mm and it’s a nice chunky profile. On my bathroom scales it’s 4kg dead. The white scratch plate has aged nicely to a kind of faded parchment and the dark blue slightly metallic paint is spotless.
No gig bag but I do have a sturdy bass box that a Squier came in for transporting. I’d rather meet up, not keen on sending. I’m centrally located (I live about a mile from M40 J11) but am often in the Midlands and northern Home Counties. I’m happy for you to arrange your own courier if you prefer and I’ll pack it well in said box.

Up for sale is my exceptional Moollon Classic P bass.
Alder body, dark ebony fretboard on quartersawn maple neck, fiesta red nitro finish. I am sure you see where is the inspiration - Pino
Bass comes from 2013 and used to be real workhorse. Thanks to this and ultra thin nitro finish it started to age very nicely - it has rather matte finish, hardware has great patina and oxidation. Everything you would expect from bass being as much as possible close to pre-CBS Fenders. Nothing shiny and museum-like here. Check pictures, MOJO.
      Lightweight at 3,8kg.

Bass comes with its OHSC and is located in Czech Republic.

Price is £1900 OBO, write me a PM and we can talk shipping, have a lot of experience with EU shipping.

X-Blender as new with box - Don't loose your bottomend.
Mix wet and Dry signals on the fly. It gives you serial and parallel effects loop capability on your pedalboard but with the added features of a pre-amp with gain, eq and boost options, you don't lose signal when kicking in vintage pedals either. "Aux send/return" function preserves the integrity of the guitar's signal. The X-Blender incorporates pro-audio engineering technology to solve the sonic imperfection some effects produce and was designed to be completely transparent. You'll be amazed by the clarity of the sound! A particularly useful feature is the large blend knob you can operate with your feet for fine-tuning fx levels.
True bypass Can be used in a serial or parallel effect loop
IN, OUT, SEND and RETURN connections
      Foot switch for Blend on/off
      FX Phase switch (invert/normal)
      Boost Switch (+6 dB)
Volume, bass and treble control with centre button
Power supply with 9 V battery or 9 VDC power supply (not included) +Delivery/postage
In perfect condition  and just used once at home and decided it wasn't for my setup.
