Anybody played a Baldwin Vibraslim Bass? Any good?

Ive seen one of these basses being sold in a music shop near me , I love the look of these basses but are they any good ? and how much do they generally tend to go for?

Btw its identical in looks to the one is these pictures which i found on the net (pictures are a bit crappy quality though)

They fed-back constantly, the tone was rather wooly, the electrics (at the time) were complete pants, and nobody seemed to like the "look" of them. They weren't very highly regarded at all as a "respectable" Bass to be seen using. Apart from that, they were great. :) :huh:

Short scale, narrow string spacing, adapted from the guitar of the same name. Rather over designed by Jim Burns just before he sold the company. Electrics tricky particularly on the first versions where the controls were under the scratch plate. They never caught on, I don’t think any pro bands used them, unlike the Bison from the same stable.
