I have too many basses (bet you haven't read that before) and need to thin the herd. While this is the fastest and easiest playing of all of my basses, its the least suited to my various bands (blues, Americana, country). Weighs next to nothing (OK I exaggerate, about 7 pounds), has an ultra-slim 1.35" nut width, unfinished maple board, maple/wenge neck and holly top, plus John East electronics.

This Carl Thompson-esque beauty was originally custom made around 6 years ago for BC'er Kev Hopper and - much as I adore it - it occupies the same role as an ACG 32"  Recurve I had custom made for me last year ... and the ACG ain't going anywhere. Very good condition (a few tiny nicks but nothing alarming). No hard case but comes with Fusion padded gig bag and will be well packed if delivery required. Would prefer to hand over (I am near Hammersmith, London).

£1500 plus post is an absolute bargain for this hand-made quality. I reserve the right to change my mind and kick myself in the proverbials. Note: Pablo the sausage dog is not for sale.

Bargain now at new price £1300.

Outrageous - some of the finest luthiery and carving I've ever seen for the price of production line instrument.  I play one 34" bass and the others are all 30" - weirdly, 32" doesn't suit me at all.  If it did, this would be on its way up north.  One of BC's finest sellers too... I'm starting to crack
