!HELP!

Does anyone know where I can get a 10 hole scratchplate for my Fender 50’s Road Worn P Bass? MIM - having difficulty.

Would like a black one (black/white/black) 3 ply if possible! Also if I went for 3 ply would I need longer screws?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

Or you could use a standard 13 hole plate, cut off 3 pick guard screw heads and glue them into the holes that don't correspond with the holes in your bass, that way you can use whatever guard you want without needing to make extra holes in your bass....I have done that with my road worn which has sported a black 3 ply and a nice 3 ply tort guard,,,,but is back to original gold at the moment.

50s pickguards were 1 ply, so to get a 3 ply will be very difficult.

1 and 3 ply are the same thickness, standard screws will fit both.

You can an 11 hole black one here... https://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/Guitarworks-11-Hole-Split-Coil-Bass-Scratchplate-Black/1BQF

There's loads of them on WDMusic.co.uk........
