Any bassist who can hold down a groove whilst taking on the lead vocals gets my respect!!

And in Royal Blood Mk II style, you've managed to dispense with your guitarist! Nice one! :)

Definitely got me interested in checking out your other material.

Snapshot of PJP's bass pedal board for anyone else interested:

That's awesome :) Yes, we were heavily inspired by RB. Very different musically but still basically rock ;) We cant wait to release what we'e been writing. Thank you for the kind words!

Good stuff 🙂

Your vocals remind me of Skin's from skunk anansie.

I have not heard them. I'll check it :) Thank you!

Nice work!

Currently in the early stages of my own bass/drums two piece. Just started rocking a Mustang bass also. I’m still a little short of what I want in terms of the dirt on my octave up element of the sound but getting there. Just need to pick up a few more dirtboxes to find something I’m happy with.

Love it! It will be a journey for sure. I have found some fantastic avenues for recording and getting tons of sounds but live is still a work in progress. If what I have seen from what other  successful two piece operations is true, they never stop looking for better ways to create their sounds ;)  Please share whenever you are comfortable!

I got some great sounds using a Mooer Tender Octave (POG clone) going into a Bass Whammy (for +5th or divebombs etc), into a Joyo American Sound (Fender amp sim), to a TC Mimiq (stereo doubler).

I was only messing about at home going into headphones, but the Joyo did a great job at faking the distorted guitar amp and the Mimiq takes it to another level giving a stereo spread, makes it sound huge (although prob unnecessary if you actually have multiple amps on stage)!

If you really want to mess with people's heads, add a guitar player that plays basslines through an octave down pedal, Seven Nation Army style. :D

      Hiya!
I'm finally getting round to selling my Rocktron Blue Thunder preamp/fx unit, I got it part of a bundle a few years ago and haven't ever used it other than to make sure it works - it all seems to be working fine, I just don't have a psu I can supply with it unfortunately.
I'm asking £180 ono for starters, any questions feel free to ask. ***DROPPED TO £120 POSTED***
      Cheers!

So I've seen a few really cool pedal rehousing jobs done in the US recently and I was wondering if anyone knows of where to get this kind of thing done in the UK?
Alternatively, is this kinda possible as a home project for a beginner such as myself? Links to parts or kits would be great.

Example: This is an example of someone rehousing a Boss OC2. In this case they've removed the second octave.

      Hey everyone
Bought a Spector Performer 4 deluxe today.
Its a great bass but obv its doesnt have the edge or tone I get from My Legend 5 Classic.
I had myself wondering....what about a preamp instead of basically spend twice as much as the bass to install active pick ups?
It a was great price and good bass for the money its just it could do with a little more ommph to match its bigger brother!
      Thanks

      Hi,
I am looking at replacing my Aguilar Octamiser as I don’t use it that much and looking to get an octave pedal that’s a bit more adventurous.
The EarthQuaker devices bit commander looked really fun and wondered if anyone had some experiences with it? I wanted to ask how good it is as a stand alone octave pedal especially in the tracking department as that is where I felt the Aguilar wasn’t very good. I also wanted to ask how crazy the synth function can be, to experiment with.
Any experiences with the pedal or any other options for octaves pedals with extra functions would be great.
      Thanks for reading this.
