EMG J-HZ 4 String Passive Jazz Bass Ceramic Pickup Set Black, Solderless. 

 

The set includes all the original parts plus some optional pickup springs bought at a later date.

 

These pickups sound similar to the Fender stock pickups but with slightly more bandwidth. The passive EMG pickups respond well to how much you dig in. This Ceramic set is particularly well suited for fretless bass playing, rock or metal with a slightly tighter sound than the Alnico set.

 

Only one wire has some wear from sitting below the bridge pickup but everything is fully working and in excellent condition.

The bridge pickup is slightly wider than the neck one as per American basses and latter Mexican ones.

I tried these pickups in a 2008 MIM Fender bass and they fit fine. They are slightly taller than stock Fender pickups so you just need less foam underneath.
