Price reduced to £695 with Gator case, including UK shipping...

For sale is my Thunderfunk TFB-750A head, a fabulous amp with bags of tone, hand made in the US with high grade components. Incredibly flexible semiparametric EQ, preamp switchable between solid state / valve, and a huge amount of power, running right down to a 2 ohm load. In excellent condition, as you can see from the pics. It’s just been fully serviced, and had a small issue with one of the pots fixed, (hence the ‘Job No.’ sticker) and is in full working order.

I bought it on here last year, and despite its quality and tone, I really don't need a head this powerful. I'm downsizing in general, so I'll be putting a few other things up on here shortly.

Also included is a 2-U Gator ABS case to protect it on its travels.

Sorry, but I’m not looking for any trades

Fabulous old school solid state 1200 watt (at 2 ohms) bass head. Amazing valve like levels of grunt, plenty of low end but no mud. Ran this on a three band tour with the other bass players sharing it so got to hear it being played, and it sounded wonderful. I believe they have some link with the legendary Thunderfunk amps, but do not know the exact history. If anyone does know please feel free to post or PM, thanks.
My gigging for the next year means I don't have the luxury of taking a large, very heavy (24kg) amp with me, so I'm back on Class d.
Comes with ABS flight case (with a few scars, but nothing serious).
Edited to add trades - always happy to consider any musically related trades - PA bits possibly, 5 stringers, guitars. Give me a try.

Hi Guys! I'm from Australia though live in Berlin and Bavaria Germany now. I'm a Fender guy mainly but sometimes play a Yamaha BB 5 string. I play all styles though my main gig at the moment is Will Jacobs (Chicago) Blues and Funk.

Looking forward to hanging out with you all!  !

      FOR SALE
      PRICE DROPPED TO £550
      Thunderfunk TB550-B
These don't come around very often - If you're reading this then you probably already know a bit about them......

I picked this up in an exchange a few months back - I had too many amps, needed to shift one and was offered this as a trade. We've all been there - curiosity gets the better of you and you think "what the hell, it'll be fun to try something new!"

The fact remains i still have too much stuff, I've bought a little sports car that i want to spend a few quid on and i need to move the amp on to finance it. (There's going to be a nice Stingray up for sale soon as well!)
A fabulous boutique amp that is hand made using absolutely top notch components by Dave Funk in the USA and it's a holy grail amp to some. Super rare in this country and housed in a top notch Boschma 4u lightweight rack case. The 2u amp is designed to run hot as the casing is actually the heat sink so i put it in a 4u case and added vented blanking plates to help the heat dissipation just in case.
Its the 'B' version which has The Switch -a switchable Tube Emulation circuit so you can run a Solid State or Tube style sound at any volume (the original B550 had a circuit that got tubier sounding as you turned the volume up but you couldn't switch it off). It's 550 watts into 4 ohms, has a headphone out and line in, a limiter and a fully parametric eq as well as standard treble and bass controls. The secret weapon controls are the 'Enhance' and 'Timbre' controls - you can literally set up your sound using these 2 controls without touching an eq control - they're brilliant. Oh and it only weighs 17lbs so is by no means heavy to carry about.
Collection ideally from near Stansted Airport but i could possible drop off by arrangement in the Essex/Herts/London/Kent/Suffolk areas as i travel about a bit for work. Definitely not up for any trades this time around though 🙂 And I don't like couriers (no offence if you're a courier, its not personal) so please don't ask....
Here's a link to the manual which is quite a good read https://www.thunderfunk.com/Downloads/Thunderfunk_OwnersManual.pdf
And here are some pictures below - if you need to know anything else just drop me a message.
      Thanks for looking.

This is from a gig at Durrington Working Men's Club from February 23rd '19. Durrington is near Stonehenge for reference.
The gig was to showcase our new horn section and new drummer and we only had one rehearsal as a full band so it has a raw feel to it. This was also the first time I'd played 'Tears of a Clown' live (played a semi tone down in 'c').
Video was shot but the quality was terrible. Our singer, Kurt, recorded this on his laptop.
      Feedback welcome
*Made a video of stills to get the mp3 uploaded and playable. Some shots of the band live, some of artists we cover, none of Smokey Robinson!!!*
*You don't have to watch the video just close your eyes*
