dannybuoy Posted May 5, 2019 Share Posted May 5, 2019 (edited) I'd try a different bass and different cables (instrument and XLR) to rule those out first. Then a different mixer! If it crackles on both your amp DI and a standalone DI box, the problem is likely to exist elsewhere. It's been an issue at three of the last four gigs but these have been different venues with different sound techs so must be either the bass or amp.
