Lexii Posted April 25, 2019 Share Posted April 25, 2019 Hi I have a Sandberg that's developed a fault. When I sweep the pickup pot it crackles, I thought this was just dirty contacts. But after I've swept to either pickup and let go the buzzing/ crackling can still be heard and is there when I play, almost like mild distortion. If I then just touch the top of the pickup knob 2 or 3 times I can get it to go away, like an earth fault but it crackles and is still there even when I touch the strings etc. Any ideas?
