Warwick Thumb 6 B.O. fretted, custom shop. MEC 3way pre. Sale or trade for a black Tony Franklin fretless. £1500 Scarborough

Reluctantly up for sale, my Warwick Thumb 6, fretted, bolt on custom shop, 3 way Mec pre, bought used about three years ago from Bass Direct.

I will do a straight trade for a black Fender Tony Franklin fretless or similar.

This is an incredible playing and sounding bass, I'd love to keep it but needs must.

In fantastic condition other than one small ding courtesy of a courier on the back near the battery compartment/input jack, not visible while playing.

Truss rod is fully adjustable, low action, no issues.

It comes with a deluxe Warwick gig bag and tool kit, wax, tags, paperwork etc.

Any trail welcome.

If you pay for and arrange a courier I can put the bass in a Hiscox case instead of the gig bag, I will also ensure the case is well protected with bubble wrap inside a large bass box.

I will throw in a Comfort Strap free.

The bass is darker in person that it appears in these photographs.

A proper dream bass this, only selling to fund a Tony Franklin fretless or similar as my fretless Thumb 6 is in need of expensive luthery beyond my meagre means and I'm predominantly a fretless player
