Bass on a boat

Looking at the prices and knowing what I’ve paid for similar cruises without bass tuition, I reckon they are about $1500 extra. Plus the hassle of flying to Venice with a bass which is too large for an overhead locker in the cabin, so it will be in the hold. And many of us may remember what happened to Dave Carroll’s Taylor guitar flying on Delta and their reluctance to do anything about it!

if you don’t know see United breaks guitars on YouTube.

If I had the money and the bands on were ones I liked I'd definitely do Cruise to the Edge, it's not like the OP as it is not aimed at people wanting lessons. I'm not sure I could really concentrate on bass lessons whilst visiting nice locations, I'd be straight in holiday mode and sack the playing sessions off so wouldnt get my money's worth.
