Greeting all, Up for sale if my Yamaha BB735a 5 string in nearly new condition. Bought this bass back in October last year if memory serves me correctly, and as much as I Love Yamaha BB basses I just can seem to gel with this one, so its being put up on the block. As mentioned the bass is in really good condition, I've only played it mainly at home and a couple of band practice sessions.  Also included in the sale will a gig bag.  ORIGINAL TUNERS HAVE BEEN PUT BACK on. Hipshots no longer included in the sale.

SOLD!!!

I would be open to trades but only 4 stringers really.

Cheers all, any questions, please feel free to ask.

Someone’s going to be very happy when they get their hands on this. Fantastic bass.

I'd have gone for the classic Clover styled bass tuners but nice bass and good luck with the sale 👍🏻

@Al Krow is looking for one of these I believe.

Cheers for spotting bassfan. I've decided** I'm going to be content with my existing 3 Yammy basses, two of which indeed are in white! :)

GLWTS

My 735a is considerably lighter than my old BB...

Wow, this is one of the lightest 5 Strings I've ever played, and I'm a really small guy, admittedly the body is quite large and a tad bulky but not overly, fantastic basses, GLWTS

I believe this is the same bass I've seen on Facebook, and the OP told me it's around 5kg, which is massively heavy for me. I prefer 4kg or under ideally.

That’s curious. Mine is quite light and it’s a 5er! I suppose this is a classic example of how much wood can vary.

My Bathroom scales told me 0.9 pounds, which roughly translates to around 5kg

9lb = 4.082kg.

Hello I am curious about the dimensions of the Yamaha Pickups in this bass. Would I be able to fit other brands of pickups in this bass without further routing? Oh and is the string spacing really 18mm? Many Thanks!

10.9 lb is nearly 5kg.

For what it's worth, mine is 4.4kg. Also, I found kitchen scales to be a lot more accurate than bathroom ones.

Great basses - good luck.

the string spacing on this is the best of any 5 string I've ever played, I have small hands, and the neck & spacing is superb

Ah good point, I assumed the 0.9lb quoted was supposed to be 9lb.

Does look a cracking bass, despite the weight!

600£ costs new in shop without those horrible holes on the backheadstock... I offer You 300£ 'cause I'm a good mate

@Teobass75 that's really very inappropriate mate on someone else's FS.

Unless, of course, your real name is Richard Le Tete, in which case it would be entirely expected.

      Hello,
For sale I have a Peavey Milestone 1 Jazz bass in I believe Daphne Blue(?). Bought this bass on whim a couple of months ago and have no real use for it. Its in used condition with a few marks on the body, but structurally the bass is sound.
      SOLD
Any questions please feel free to ask.
      Cheers
