Kiesel (Carvin) VB5 Headless Short Scale 5-string Bass Guitar E-C

Hand built in USA 2017

Deep Black Cherry Flame Top on Lightweight Chambered body

5 piece maple through neck, short scale

Tuned E to C (but can be strung B to G)

I had this made by Kiesel a couple of years ago and is currently in new mint condition. It has never left the house, never been gigged, rehearsed, etc. I love this thing but it really needs to go to someone who will appreciate it and use it more. I could also do with the money, not least for tax reasons

Where are you based?

will any work be required to restring it to a low B - E  setup?

I would be very interested to hear how it handles a low b if you have any sound clips or recordings. Can’t find much on YT.

Hi Dazed,

I'm based in Farnham, Surrey, near Guildford.

According to Kiesel, in reply to my inquiry,  no work would be required to change to a B - G setup.

I don't have any sounds to indicate the low B. However if you have a look at this clip from around 8:20, there is some discussion about this.
