Can only assume the placement of the decimal point might be influencing my search results! I'ved always wondered why I'd never seen any J-based neck-throughs, considering several Japanese manufacturers made P-derived versions in the late 70s & early 80s. ped Posted February 20, 2019 Share Posted February 20, 2019 I owned an Alembic years ago and remember finding them then - aways wondered about them but quite an expensive gamble - and I'm not actually keen on the look. In face bass direct had one not too long ago ok yes i just checked and its still here. Yes that bass may be new in the sense that it has not been sold by the dealer but it is not a recent build and has been on sale since at least 2016.
