Just a bit of fun for the weekend.

There's obviously no 'right' answer - although I suspect some may disagree 😂

Nicest P I’ve ever seen was a wine colour. That’s not in your selection. To be honest, I like any colour and take them as they come.

Another good shout. I've included 'wine' (aka burgundy) on the list...

And a sparkle option! 🤩

Haha - would need to do that for each colour. I don't think sparkle is a colour as such - lol!

So go ahead choose your fav colour and we'll make a mental note that sparkle is required in your specific case 😁

...plus copious LEDs.

Your only saving grace really is that you have such great taste in amps... 😂

Easy.  Gloss black.  With a BWB pickguard and a maple neck.  Oh, yes, and Precision shaped.

I imagine that would be some folks' worst nightmare!  :)

Ah pickguards... that's a whole 'nother subject.

Don't worry about liking Precisions, Paul. Apparently all the best pro-players use nothing else and some of them even manage to keep their left arms on the neck throughout a gig...

You just wait until you play the new one and switch the lights on.... you’ll be placing an order for a bass with illuminations in no time😂😂

I grew up in the same town as Noddy Holder was born in. So I'm very familiar with illuminations 😁

There's something about a black bass which is understated and classy, where a red or unusual colour (like a bright orange, lime green etc) would stick out, some more than others. I guess the same could apply to white too (classy and fits in). Whether you want to stick out, or let the music do the talking, is another matter.

And so you picked yellow exactly why?! 😀

Haha I can see why my post made no sense 🤣😂

Yellow is my favourite colour but it's so hard to find the basses I like and play in yellow and in most cases, the yellow looks rubbish. So my second favourite is natural wood.

Like natural / Olympic white / Sonic blue as first choices . But then I don't mind a nice sunburst or Fender 60's custom colours either. Red ok sometimes, depends on the bass for me.

Only thing I'm not wild about is black. As with cars, only looks good when really clean, and shows up greasy fingermarks etc really easily. Wouldn't stop me from buying a bass if it was a good one, just not top of my list. Absolute no-go's for me would probably be pink (sorry hkh!), yellow and maybe purple.

Interesting that folk seem to love gloss black, but much less so gloss white.

(aka 'LA teeth' white - which was such a good phrase from one of my fellow BC'ers earlier today, it inspired me to start the thread!)

I look at this and definitely think, 'yup' I do love that! Just pipped at the post for me by vintage white, maybe I should go back and change my vote to balance things up a little  😁Thumb2.jpg.8d9dcc3b8743cc1e00e5ecba9725aad6.jpg

You need better legal representation. Fixed 😂
