Hi all

im looking for a new home practice amp and have noticed the tcbg250 112 at a great price of £226 but as space is a bit of an issue the mark bass cmd 101 looks like it’s in the frame as well but at £399.

Any thoughts, I’m playing an Overwater active jazz whilst the Tc amps give your more options ie tone print the mark bass kit , looking at the reviews, gives a better quality sound

Any advice will be much apreciated

Cheers

Bob

i gigged for ages on a TC250-12 and loved it so I would go for that, although if space is a problem they do smaller sized. If it is just for home use you could go for something like a PhilJones double four - more expensive again but you could get one second hand. Or as above, either a TC250-208 or a BAM200 and maybe a 10" cab.

Personally I use a CTM100 and 2 TC1x12, but it is true to say that isn't so great at space!
