danpb Posted February 9, 2019 Share Posted February 9, 2019 Has anyone tried one of the new(ish) Victory amps preamps with bass? Thinking the Kraken would be great infront of my clean orange 4 stroke if it handles the low end well. One channel for gritty very slightly driven, another for distorted bass. The Kraken was designed with extended range and drop tuned guitarists in mind so figured it already handles low end better than usual guitar oriented preamps. It would be always on on one channel or another so any mild low end loss could be compensated on the amp, just worried it would cut too much out.
