walshy Posted December 11, 2018 Share Posted December 11, 2018 (edited) Stunning 1980 pre EB Musicman Stingray Bass in Tobacco Burstwith beautiful wear and patina. 1980 two tone burst Stingray, super road worn as can be seen. The bass had extremely comfortable neck, sounds just as you would expect from a preEB - slap machine but with a lot of lows and low mids, plus the bespoken endless harmonics. Not a bad weight - about 4kg., neck is straight, truss rod works, frets have plenty of life in them, action is very good. As far as I know from the previous owner couple of screws are not original, the volume pot has been changed, had a tiny crack at the truss rod nut (now fixed and stable).The original case is present but crooked - handle broken, etc. Welcome to come and try. No trades and can courier if required or collection and test drive welcome ( coffee and biscuits are included in price) I have owned this twice now, just bought back from Markus who I sold it too but something special has come up that I must have!
