Dimitris Bikos Posted November 11, 2018 Share Posted November 11, 2018 Hello guys, Has anyone there tried to match the Delano JMVC 5 Fe pickus with the Aguilar OBP3 preamp on a bass? I love the sound of these pickups and i'm searching for a great and safe match onboard preamp for my new bass project....I also consider the OBP3 premp on of the greatest and i have a great experience with them but with Bartolini pickups... Guest Marcoelwray Posted February 7, 2019 Share Posted February 7, 2019 I work with Delano, JMVC are a nice choice for a modern punchy growly sound, saving the Jazz sound. I never couple those with a Aguilar preamp but I'm sure it'll fit nicely. I still prefer the Glockenklang preamps, or Delano, but IMHO it's a nice match either way.
