The neck profile is surprisingly comfortable on these guitars but I'm of a similar mind that it's possibly not as well suited for bass. I do personally like a fairly shallow front to back profile but I'm actually thinking an asymmetric profile could be quite nice. The guitars look amazing but I hate that headstock. Given the very high level of design and organic shaping everywhere else on the guitar the squared off shape looks undesigned and an after(un)thought. Can’t wait to see how the bass looks! Headstock design is one of the hardest bits of a guitar to get right aesthetically. And we all have a personal list of the brands we reckon have failed! As pointed out, an original headstock is super difficult to achieve and I have seen many which just do not work. Hoping to get our heads together at some point over the next few days though if we can. She certainly should have a plain dark fretboard, thank you. The fretless in the following pictures was made by a local luthier Kristian Ukkonen. The knobs control pickup coils (single/series/parallel) and a step attenuator. Finnish birch, walnut and blackwood (https://www.madinter.com/en/). It plays far better than I do but this was a chance of "once in a lifetime". If it's the former then I'd bin that feature off, looks nice but would be a PITA. Otherwise stunning instruments though.
