Hi there!

I'm selling my Warwick Corvette Custom Fretless 4-string. The bass is in perfect condition (and I mean perfect!).

Details:
- Ebony fingerboard with marked lines
- Bolt on neck
- Ebony nut
- Ash body
- Bartolini J/J pickups
- Aguilar OBP-3 preamp (volume, balance, bass, mid and treble)
- Wooden ramp between pick ups
- Wood knobs (same as the ramp)
- Golden hardware

The price is € 800 (case included) + shipping costs.
I recorded with it a couple of tracks from my last CD, you can hear it here:

No trades please. The bass is in Barcelona.

Hi Oriol

What year is the bass and where was it manufactured (I am assuming it’s German?)

Can you advise of shipping costs to Manchester, England?

Oh and is the wooden ramp screwed in? Would it leave holes if it was removed?

Thanks

Pete

Hello,

yes, the bass is german made in 1996. It is in perfect condition (9,5 over 10)!

The ramp is not screwed (it's attached with double-sided adhesive), so it can be removed easily.

For shipping cost, I'm checking and it seems it could be under 100 € (maybe around 70 or 80€) for a standard shipping. If you're really interested I can check it with more accuracy.

Thanks for the info!

I’ll think it over and let you know for sure.

I was ideally seeking an unlined but this bass could maybe change my mind 🤔

I’m also a bit hesitant/unsure about shipping. I’ll come back to you in the next day or so.

Thanks!

Pete.

Yes, I understand. I'd prefer that somebody pick the bass in Barcelona (more secure and cheaper 😉). anyway, some years ago I've sold another Warwick and shipped to Netherlands (with content insured and tracking number) with no problem.

About the bass: I've played unlined fretless basses previously and I seriously recommend lined fretless (unless you're Alain Caron). It's really helpful and makes you sound better quickly on fretless.

hello

is there sound without battery, a passive mode?

No, just active. But the Aguilar OBP3 preamp can be turned into passive mode if you add a switch (or a push/pull) and bypass the active preamp. It's easy (at least for your luthier) since there's the diagrams on the Aguilar web page: http://www.aguilaramp.com/wp-content/uploads/wiring-diagram-obp-3-v2.pdf

My luthier did it for 50 € on one of my basses (which have the same Aguilar preamp), so if you like passive tone it could be done easily.

Still on sale! An unbeatable price for this fretless. You can pick it up in Barcelona or I could ship it within Europe. Sorry for the people who live abroad (USA for example) but I don't feel comfortable with such a long trip and a lack of control (even if there's a tracking number)
