1 X Vanderkley MNT210 cabs (new pics)
£1000

Recommended Posts

ONE CAB LEFT NOW

£500

In mint condition with less than 8 hours playing time on each. They still smell new!

Selling as I have no gigs on the horizon and to have this sat in my living room is a travesty.

Beautiful sounding cabs, fat and rich with a very detailed mid-range. Oozing tonal class.

Will deliver within a 75 miles radius to Witney in Oxfordshire. Also happy to meet up. Will not post.

17kg in weight each

600 watts power handling

8 ohm impedance.

Oooo,

I like the look of these and i'm just up the road in kidlington.

I had Markbass cabs recently and did not really get on with them, are these voiced in a similar way?

Regards

Rob

I used to have a Markbass NY122 before these and I would say they are very different. These have a much nicer treble extension and a fatter more detailed sound. Real 'chub' to the notes but staying very clean.

Hi, Would one of these cabs sound louder than a single Vanderkley 112 cab (also 600 Watts 8 Ohm)? I'm guessing a 2 x 10 would be moving more air than a 1 x 12, but wonder if there would be much difference in volume. I would be using an Eich T900 amp.

Very good price for a great cab, particularly in the mint condition these are in!

If I was going for a single VK cab, I personally would choose a 2x10 over a single 1x12 - particularly as the weights of the two cabs are pretty close. As you say, you're going to be shifting more air so it should be a bit louder at a given amp setting (this is assuming they have identical speaker drivers / displacements; although I've not checked the latter).

And although I prefer the articulation / tonal spread of a 2x12 probably best of all, I'd still go for the 210 on portability grounds.

I originally bought a 600W VK210 MNT 8 ohm from the FS here, which I was very happy with. I ended up trading it for a 1200W VK210 LNT 4 ohm as the other guy wanted greater portability and I was looking for a single cab that had the headroom for me to unleash the full capacity of my DG M900 should I ever need to do so. I've found the LNT to be slightly 'darker' than the MNT, but that nuance will be lost in a band mix.

No "right" answer, but I don't think you'll be disappointed whichever way you jump!

Hope that helps.

@ 40hz - GLWTS, shame you're having to let them go - looks like an awesome rig to me :)

Thanks for that info Al Krow, I have two of the 112MNT's already; I use a single one for rehearsal and a single one in small gigs, but sometimes find one is a bit quiet; but two cabs is awesome on a bigger stage or at an outdoor festival type gig. So I wondered if getting a single 210 would be a good in-between cab for say a pub gig where I want to save space - I also have to get the PA in the car, but want a bit more volume behind me while playing.

Epifani UL502 600w dual channel amp. Weight 16lbs. Epifani UL212 400w with soft cover. I’ll through in a new gator case for the amp if you need one.
I bought these from the Bass Gallery when I lived in Wales  then moved to London to a tiny flat so it went straight into storage. The amp is as new straight from the box I’ve used it twice at home. The cab is in the same condition both have been kept in storage with my other basses. Will split if you want just the cab or amp.
Pick up only Wimbledon SW19 cash on collection sorry no trades

Rare chance to acquire a pair of stunning Vanderkley 210MNT 600W 8ohm cabs with custom Roqsolid covers.
I have reluctantly decided to part with these gorgeous cabs due to lack of use and storage space.
Hardly used since I bought them from a Basschat member here in April 2017, previous owner had them from new and also hardly used them so these are in great condition. A few minor transport scuffs, as shown in the pic.
They look and sound absolutely amazing, no buzzes or rattles just pure clean tone. If you need the specs, head over to Bass Direct   http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/MNT210.html where you will see these are £765 new each, with covers, so this represents a significant saving. Run as a pair, they provide 1200W at a 4ohm so well suited to a high powered head.
Any questions, please ask. You are welcome to try out, first to view will buy! Cash on collection please, Barnet (North London/Herts borders). Thanks for looking.

Exquisitely designed high end bass amplification from Europe with the modern bass player in mind. Hand made cabs featuring custom designed drivers and cross-overs. Available exclusively from Bass Direct, we feel that if you are in the market for professional quality cabinets you should put these on your list and come in and try them out.

The NeoLite cabinets are loaded with the latest generation custom-made neodymium drivers. The drivers are absolute state-of-the-art; constructed from a cast aluminium frame, neodymium magnet assembly, unique coil and magnet cooling design, waterproof cone material, linear frequency response, high power- and sensitivity-ratings. The tweeters feature a custom-made filter with tweeter protection circuit and a high frequency attenuator on the back panel. Here you will also find two Neutrik® speakon/6.3mm jack-combo connectors linked parallel.

These "high efficiency" cabinets are sealed airtight from the inside so the air will only enter or leave the cab through the tuned port-tube mounted on either the front or back or both. Each speaker cabinet is hand-made by Marc Vanderkley, using strong but lightweight void free birch and poplar plywood, dowel joint construction, internal bracing and is covered with high quality black carpet which will protect your cabinet for years to come.

With 600 Watts rms on tap, this super high efficiency cabinet is ideal for the player looking for a very high output and lightweight cabinet that provides plenty of controlled volume. Deep low end is perfectly balanced with punchy mid range and detailed, crystal clear high end. A very light cabinet that works for almost any type of bass, including upright and any style of music. We suggest running a pair of these for maximum efficiency.

      Configuration: 1x12” Neodymium driver + 1" tweeter variable tweeter control from 0 - 10.

      UPDATE!
Unfortunately this baby has to go after all, due to financial reasons.
In the meantime I've swapped original soapbar pickups for Nordstrand Single coil HC (in soapbar cover) because I thought that I'll be able to keep the bass, and I prefer more SC sound. They are custom made with staggered pole pieces for 12' radius, and they costed me around 300 euros shipped directly from Carey. Bass also sounds killer with them of course, but little bit more to my taste
Installation is solderless, 15 minutes work.
I'm willing to leave them installed for mentioned price, of course original Soapbars included, so you can decide what you like more.

      Sadowsky Standard 4 String #7317
      Specs:
Body: Mahogany / Master grade flame maple top
Neck: Roasted flame maple / Madagascar rosewood
      Pickups: Sadowsky soapbar
      Hardware: Black
      Weight: 3.62 kg!

It is in MINT CONDITION! Lightweight and resonates like crazy. Sounds huge and sweet, fingerstyle or slap!
Bass like this costs 6300$ at Roger's shop + almost a year wait + VAT, shipping etc. + you can't get something like this from NYC anymore. For example on thomann.de, similar specs Sadowsky's are around 7000 euros.
Bass comes in original Sadowsky case, also like new. Strung with fresh Blue Label SS 45-105 strings. All case candy included of course, and fret protector.
I will put inside the case Sadowsky Comfort strap (size S) like a little gift.

Money via Transferwise or Bank transfer. PayPal is bad lately to my experience.

      Price is 3700 euro.

      Kind regards.

      Luka
