binky_bass Posted September 14, 2018 Share Posted September 14, 2018 If you strategically put your thumb over the top of the 'single cut' and close one eye accordingly to blot out the shame of that section of the body shape it's actually a very reasonable design, assuming you can trick your mind into believing it's a true single cut and that it isn't some kind of shameful status streamliner wannabe. Copious amounts of acid helps with this process. (Disclaimer: visions of Satan crawling up your leg with a knife between his teeth are a natural by product of acid taking.) Yeah it had potential but is poorly executed. The heel of the neck is near the 12th fret FFS so good luck finding anything comfortable to play above that position. Ugly as sin anyway, also what's with the bridge and pickups being lopsided on the maple laminate part? Looks really odd but both of them have it so it must be deliberate. BreadBin Posted November 3, 2018 Share Posted November 3, 2018 (edited) My BC Rich has a similar offset problem - it's because the (tapered) fingerboard has been fitted with the top edge parallel to the wing edge, the centre line should be parallel instead.
