I thought these basses were hideously ugly....... until I saw this one for sale here last year.

The colour just 'works' with the body shaping, and the ergonomics are just fantastic: it will sit on your knee all by itself, due to the extended lower horn. It's scalloped lengthways and widthways, so on a strap, it moulds to you.

One humbucker plus piezo, vol and active tone for each. Tone off with magnetic sounds pretty much like a rich P bass, and tone on sounds like an active P. I use it tone off, and it has sounded great in rehearsals.

Unfortunately, I broke the piezo connection on the A string when adjusting the intonation. There is a faint sound from the A, but it might just be the other piezos picking that up. This was after a guitar shop repair.

So it is basically a single pickup bass we have here.

Specs:

Luthite body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard (a very rich and lively example). Someone has added luminous dots on the front and side of the neck, professionally done.

39mm at the nut, I think, but it feels much fuller than that, oddly.

21mm depth at the nut. 18mm spacing at the bridge.

A few small dings, all pictured, but in very good nick all told. I'm only selling cos I feel the need for a high C.

£200 delivered to your UK door, VERY securely parcelled up.

Pics below. It's pictured with TI flats (and it sounds awesome), but it will come with a set of D'Addario rounds. If I've forgotten anything, just ask.

Thanks for looking. SeanP_20180830_104350.thumb.jpg.72b856f98ca794d233409b912f61958a.jpg
