Hello guys, I've almost finished my degree and am doing a Groove Collective bass transcription book for my final project and discussing what it needs to contain and how i'd get it published for my dissertation.

So... If you guys could fill out this questionnaire it'd be greatly appreciated!

General transcription book one:

Groove Collective one:

There will be a couple more short ones comin, one about your favourite genres/bands and one about groove collective in particular.

if you like your funk but haven't heard of them, then download basically anything by them, you'll love it. In particular the albums We The People and Dance of the Drunken Master will give you a pants tent.

Also, if you know any independent music publishing houses/methods to publish let me know, hal leonard won't even look at 'em and it'd be nice to be able to send them off to someone and see what they think.

Thanks in advance guys!

Tom

I will go and have a look in my Writers Handbook and see what I can find out.
Done ... but the answer to "Can You Read Music Notation?" was limited to Yes/No, where there should have been an option for Well, some - but I'm not very good at it.

Hello everyone, thanks for all your responses! Maybe a bit of a problem though, I didn't realise that for the free account thing with the survey site you're only allowed 50 responses and I've got 61. then they stop you looking at the results, unfortunately I don't have the £20 necessary to see them... :)

So, I've added a couple of the most pertinent questions to my groove collective specific questionnaire which you can fill out here, I'd really appreciate it if you guys could do this, and I'm really sorry that the last one didn't work out, I will monitor this one and let you know on here when (if) it's getting close to 50

Thanks again everyone! you're legends! oh and mrs. tinman, cheers! will get onto them asap

Well you could always talk nicely to Basschat's own Stuart Clayton, the man behind Bassline Publishing. He might be able to give you a couple of pointers.
