Pretty sure this bass is an SB600 not an SB700. SB 600s had set/glued neckswhereas the SB700 had a 5 piece laminated neck thru body. Please check specs.

Indeed. I had the SB 600 and it was set neck like the Above. SB 700 is neck through, as you say

As usual a nice example of a SB bass.  I agree that it is a SB600 as I have a very similar one,  except for some reason the headstock is paduk red !

Curious as to why my polite input to the discussion on this was moderated out.   Mods?

Can’t see anything - nothing has been deleted or hidden. Maybe it didn’t post?

I did post, and I got a notification saying that my post was being hidden pending approval by a moderator.  Just seemed a bit odd.

My comment on the bass by the way was that it definitely wasn't a SB700, as the SB700 is not only through neck, but also has a cutaway at the back of the neck that goes all the way round at the back to improve access to the upper frets.

Comments on items in the commercial marketplace are subject to approval by a mod, so yours must have been deleted somehow, I don’t know why... anyway thanks for the comment 👍🏻

I deleted (or rather, didn't 'approve'...) this, as comments of the sort are, I reckon, best sent by PM to the Original Poster.

OK, Dad, but then it would make sense to pm me to let me know.   I respectfully disagree by the way.   Its also a bit odd as there were already several posts up already saying it wasn't an SB700.

I'm sorry that you disagree, but please read again the comment from Ped.

It doesn't seem unreasonable that one should be notified if one's comment is rejected, and also the reason why.

I also wonder whether the OP should be obliged to correct their listing when it is clear that a mistake has been made.

Did you see the apology above? What more do you want?! I’m sure the post will be corrected in due course. Storm in a teacup much?!
