This is a great sounding drive pedal with some really cool tone shaping capabilities too. Right now though I'm needing to raise some funds quickly so this is really priced to sell - just £35 posted in the UK by 2nd Class signed Royal Mail. Grab yourself a bargain! Works great. The Lomenzo Hyper Drive draws on James' 30 year playing career that has seen him work with Zakk Wylde's Black Label Society, David Lee Roth, Ozzy Osbourne, Slash's Snake Pit, White Lion and Megadeth. Get Hyper To create the fire-breathing overdrive sound that James craves, the drive section in the Hyper Drive is far from typical. A band of frequencies in the mid range of the bass signal is selected and the distortion effect is only applied to those frequencies creating a unique overdrive flavour whereby the top and bottom end remains untouched, but the powerful mids can be tuned from a mild-growl to full-on distortion. You can tune the distortion frequency range to suit your bass/style and a mix control let's you balance the original 'dry' signal back into the mix. Setting the level Whether you're using an active or passive bass, the Ashdown VU meter in combination with the Input level knob let's you easily find the sweet spot. Ensuring you get the best possible tone in and out of whatever instrument you're using.
